Serafin was given at the home of Mrs. Thomas Graham, Dallas in honor of the couple's engagement. ARC honors Knights of Columbus Jan. 30 The ARC (association for retarded citizens) of Luzerne County will honor all the Knights of Columbus organization on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. at the ARC office, 59 N. Troop 693 and Back Mountain Venture/Varsity along with Magistate Tupper’s office have put together a program that will allow the boys to participate in a “mock” trial. The first of two meetings will be for anyone interested in getting involved with the program. At this first meeting the boys will hear the charges against the accused, find out how to defend and prosecute and hear about any laws that effect the case. At that time any boys interested in getting directly involved will« be chosen for different parts: law- yers, defendants, witnesses, jury, ete. They will have one month ‘to prepare their case, and on March 3, at 7 p.m. we will meet agin to complete our “trial”.
