Dymond named to PAC All-Academic team Former Lake-Lehman High School field hockey standout Cathy Dymond was one of 38 College Misericordia student-ath- letes to earn Pennsylvania Ath- letic Conference All-Academic sta- tus for the fall semester. In the first quarter the Sixers outscored the Celtics 14-6. In the second quarter the Celtics re- grouped and with the hot shoot- ing of Jared Karalunas and nar- rowed the Sixers halftime lead to 22-19. The third quarter had each team trading baskets and playing strong defense. The Celtics narrowed the Sixer lead at the end of the third quarter to 32-31. The turning point of the game came ¥. > with four minutes left in the game when Celtic big man Matt Eyet left the game with his fifth personal foul. The Sixers’ offense was led by Danny Fetko with 18 points followed by David Finn with 14 points, Buddy Shah with 8 points and Danny Krause with 7 points. The Celtics’ offense was led by Jared Karalunas with a game high 24 points, followed by Matt Eyet with 13 points. The Sixers record goes to 5-2 while the Celtics record drops to 5-2.
