Kindler, 52, of Chase Road, Jackson Township, died Oct. 12, 1996, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Edward and Marie Brolley Kindler. He graduated from E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, in 1962. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed as an insur- ance agent by Metropolitan Life. He was a self-employed insur- ance broker for the Underwriter's Group, Kingston. He lived in Wilkes-Barre before moving to Jackson Township in 1973. He was chairman of the Jack- son Township Municipal Author- ity, a past president of the Back Mountain Little League, a mem- ber of the Knights of Columbus, and St. Therese's Church, Shavertown, Kingston Township, its finance committee and its C.C.D. program. Surviving are his wife, the former Charlotte Eckenrode: daughters, Christine, Chestnut Hill; Debra, at home; sons, Michael R., Wilkes-Barre; James D.
