Team members John Folmar and Delmar Tillery made their profits primarily from two stocks: lomega-a high technology competer firm and Harley Davidson. Mary Alice Lukasavage was the team’s advisor. William Reminglon Scholarship, sponsored by the Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO). Former Dallas-area students whose Remington Scholarships have been extended include, Ryan Lopez, a 1995 graduate of Dallas High who attends Wilkes and Heather Wright, a 1993 graduate of Dallas High attending Kutztown. CEO awards scholarships to academically talented high school graduates to assist in meeting college expenses. The scholarship, a tribute to the late F. William Remington, a former member and President of the CEO board, is funded by the Northeastern Resources Development Corporation and was instituted in 1984. Eckert to attend Interlochen Arts Camp Dallas resident, Julie H. Eckert, 15, has been accepted to attend Interlochen Arts Camp, this country's premier fine arts camp. Julie is the daughter of Bill and Pat Eckert, will study visual art at the camp. This is Julie's first time as a camper at Interlochen. Outstanding Dallas art students Eight Dallas students received cash awards and certificates of recognition for the art contest sponsored annually for the last 18 years by the Dallas Area Federated Womens Club.
