Mikolaichik is an electronic warfare systems journeyman with the 48th Intelligence Squadron at Beale Air Force Base, Calif. He is the son of Louis and Leona Mikolaichik of Carverton Road, Wyoming, PA He graduated in 1984 from Dallas High School. Parvlis graduates from recruiters’ school Air Force Stall Sgt. Francis I. Parvlis has graduated from the Air Force Recruiter School atl Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Parvlis is the son of Francis A. and Patricia M. Parvlis of Roushey St., Shavertiown. She was employed as a teacher for 35 years in the Laketon and Lake- [Lehman school districts, where she served as a guidance counse- lor. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Lewisburg where she served on the Pastor-Parish Relations Com- mittee. She also served on the church's administrative council as Nurture and Membership Card chairperson. She was also amem- ber of the United Methodist Women, Daughters of the Ameri- can Revolution, Lewisburg United Methodist Home Auxiliary and the Board of the Sliffer House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Rood: a brother, Samuel; a sister, Kathryn. Surviving is her sister-in-law Elmira Smith, with whom she lived from 1967 to 1995.
