She was born Nov. 28, 1903, in Edwardsville daughter of the late John and Mary Pietro Sabol, and was educated in borough schools. A resident of West Wyoming for most of her life, Mrs. Chacko was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pittston. She had resided at Harveys Lake for a year. Her husband, Andrew, died in 1982. Brothers, Nicholas, George, Stephen, Paul, John, Andrew and Michael, also preceded her in death . Surviving in addition to her daughter, are sons, John, Pittston; Edward, West Wyoming; Andrew, Dallas; daughter, Dorothy Michael, Swoyersville; 10 grand- children; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. He was a director of Bertels Can Co., Hanover Indus- trial Estates. He was active in the YMCA, serving on the board of directors of the North Branch and Central Wilkes-Barre facilities. GERTRUDE DAVENPORT Gertrude Terry Davenport, for- merly of Second Street, Harveys Lake, and Philadelphia, died Wednesday, February 21, at Lakeside Nursing Center, Dallas. Born Oct. 5, 1904, in the Frankford section of Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Alice Milnor Terry. She lived in the Philadelphia area most of her life before moving to Harveys Lake in 1979. She attended Philadelphia schools and was a member of Baptist Temple, Philadelphia, its choir, Idetown United Methodist Church and its choir. She was active in women's groups and varous organizations and volun- teered at the Meadows Nursing Home, Dallas. She worked at the Federal Re- serve Bank, Philadelphia before retiring and later was employed as a secretary by Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Raymond G. Davenport, on March 15, 1984; a sister, Helen Croasdale; a brother, Frank Terry. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Interment Edge Hill Cemetery, West Nanticoke, Plymouth Town- ship. ANN PARRY Ann Parry, 88, of Migazee Trail, Medford Lakes, N.J., formerly of Kingston and Trucksville, Kingston Township, died Monday, February 19, at the Care Inn, Voorhees, N.J. Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Susan Isaac Davis. She graduated from Kingston High School and was a former member of the Trucksville United Methodist Church, its ladies soci- eties and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Irem Temple, Wilkes- Barre. She was employed by the Kingston Recreation Board for several years. She lived in Kingston and Trucksville most of her life before moving to New Jersey in 1977. She was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Parry, in 1976; a brother, Jonathan Davis; a sister, Mrs. Marguerite DeVincentis. Surviving are her son, Ritchard Parry, Churchville; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Chipola, Medford Lakes, N.J.; sixgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
