Born in Wilkes-Barre Town- ship, he was the son of the late John and Isabel Pearson Lowe. He was a member of the Memo- rial Presbyterian Church, Wilkes- Barre. He had been employed as an electrical engineer by the Hudson Coal Co., Olyphant, for more than 45 years before retiring in 1969. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 67 years, the former Verna Tucker; brothers, Joseph, William and Frank Lowe; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Pritchard. She was Past Grand Noble and current District Deputy President of the Rebekah Lodge No. 514, - Lehman. She was also president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 996, Dushore, and was a member of the former Demo- cratic Women’s Club and the former Meeker Methodist Church. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, Dushore. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Winter; sister, Hilda Henish, stepbrother, Adrian Winter.
