She was later employed by Marco Electric, Buffalo and re- tired from the Gillette Co. Buffalo. She was a member of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church, Pikes Creek. Landon, 48, of Wyo- - ming Avenue, Forty Fort and Harveys Lake, died Jan. 24, 1996, after injuries sustained in an au- tomobile accident on state Route 118 in Sugarloaf Township, Co- lumbia County. Born in Houston, he was the son of the late Herbert and Dor- ~~ othy Davis Landon Jr. He owned and operated Landon Associates Insurance on Wyoming Avenue in Forty Fort and was affiliated with Baker /Landon As- sociates in Montoursville. He was a resident of Forty Fort and maintained summer resi- dences at Harveys Lake and Naples, Fla. He was a member of Forty Fort United Methodist Church and the Forty Fort Lions Club. Surviving are his wife, the former Deborah Benedict; a son, Zachary Lake Landon; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Herbert D. Born Nov. 15, 1925, in Pikes Creek, he was the son of Ada Traver Gordon of Pikes Creek and the late Lawrence Gordon. He attended Sweet Valley Com- munity Bible Church. He was self-employed as a farmer and was also employed for many years at Pulverman Sheet Metal Co., Courtdale. Surviving are his wife, the former Bettie Calkins; a daugh- ter, Beth Plumley, York Springs; a son, Gary, Shickshinny; four grandchildren; sisters, Betty Darrow, Shavertown; Shirley Jurista, Tunkhannock; Ada Kinney, Hunlock Creek; Joyce Edwards, Pikes Creek; brothers, Eugene and Carl, both of Pikes Creek. : Funeral services will be con- ducted at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Sweet Valley Community Bible Church, with the Rev. Raymond Purdy officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home, Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek, and also 10 a.m. to the time of the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Visiting Nurses Association, Kingston. WESLEY LEWIS Wesley Steven Lewis, infant son of Wesley and Kimberly Lewis of Dallas died Jan. 21, 1996 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. A memorial service was held in the Shavertown United Methodist Church. ELWOOD DYMOND Elwood U. Dymond, 78, of Tunkhannock, died Jan. 28, 1996 at his home. Born Jan. 11, 1918, in Dallas, he was the son of the late Urbane and Maude Harris Dymond. He was employed as a farmer all his life. He was preceded in death by a brother, Fuller. Surviving are a brother, Nelson, Dallas; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be con- ducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nulton Funeral Home, Route 309, Beaumont, with the Rev. While attending school, she was a member of the Choral Group of Gate of Heaven and the Glee Club and the Spanish Club of Bishop O'Reilly. : She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, Carverton section of Kingston Township. She was also a graduate “of Wyoming Seminary Business School. Before her retirement, she was employed as a secretary in the banking industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth. RICHARD SEEMAN Richard Seeman, 90, of RR 1, Mooretown Road, Sweet Valley, Ross Twp., died Jan. 25, 1996, at home.
