A group exhibition featuring six local artists will open at the MacDonald Art Gallery at College Misericordia November 12. “The Landscape,” a mixed media ex- hibit, will run until December 10. It is free and open to the public. Artists are Shavertown resident Skip Sensbach, Dallas resdient Sue Hand, Hunlock Creek resi- dent Jim Rogowski, Kingston resident Mary Lou Steinberg, Wilkes-Barre resident Brian J. Benedetti and Scranton resident Lenore Fiore-Mills. A total of 36 pieces are ex- pected to be hung for the show, including traditional and mini- ature watercolors, watercolor and ink, batik, collages, pastels and computer graphics. Each inter- prets the landscape through the artist's unique approach, some minimal and some detailed. The presentation is meant “to show the diversity and style each artist brings to their interpreta- tion of the landscape,” said Brian Benedetti, director of the Gallery.
