Chris Nattress places 9th in PA Shavertown resident Chris Nattress raced Coca-Cola Jr. NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) during the 1994-95 season and placed ninth among all of Pennsylvania's 13-15 year old boys, making him one of the fast- est ski racers in the state. Nattress was ranked against U.S. Ski Team member and 1994 Olympic gold medalist, Tommy Moe, along with approximately 110,000 other recreational ski racers participating. NASTAR racers are timed on a Malkemes wins Mark Malkemes of Dallas was the local winner in the tenth week of the 1995 Power Points football contest. His score of 88 points was the highest among local en- tries. Malkemes will receive $25 cash from The Dallas Post and a free month of HBO from Tele-Media, the contest co-sponsor. The statewide winner, with 118 of a possible 136 points was Dorothy Bell of Hagerstown, modified slalom course and given a score or “handicap,” which al- lows them to compare themselves to other NASTAR racers across the U.S. and to earn bronze, silver or gold medals every day they race. Nattress earned a season best handicap of 17 while skiing at Montage Ski Area, coming in 17 percent behind NASTAR national Pacesetter, Tommy Moe, who held NASTAR's best handicap, a zero, during the 1994-95 ski season. Power Points Maryland. In contrast, The Post's winner tied for the lowest point total among the 28 participating newspapers. The Power Points contest will run until the end of the NFL regu- lar season. U-10 girls travel team tryout Sunday The Back Mountain Youth Soccer Association will hold a tryout for its U-10 girls travel team, “The Back Mt.
