She is a member of the Cum Laude Society, holds a Trustee Achievement Scholarship and isa National Merit Semifinalist. Goryl will be ambassador Joey Goryl, son of Joseph andj Deborah Goryl, Trucksville, has been notified of his selection by the People To People program as a student ambassador represent- ing the United States. Joey is a seventh grade honor student at the Dallas Middle School. He has been a piano stu- dent under the direction of Debo- rah Kelleher for seven years and plays saxophone and piano forg the Dallas Middle School Band. He is also active with the Back Mountain Little League, Back Mountain Basketball, and a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 155, working towards his Eagle Scout rank. Upon his departure in July, he will travel to Europe, visiting England, France, Denmark and Germany. In Denmark, he will b¢ §. the guest of a host family for three days. Through participation of this program, he has the opportu- nity to earn one high school se- mester credit. Donkey basketball at Dallas March 31 A Donkey Basketball game will be played at Dallas Senior High School gym, at 7 p.m. on March 31.
