12 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, February 22, 1995 Obituaries ROBERT LANCIO ROBERT LANCIO Robert William Lancio, 64, of Forest Acres Road, New London, Conn., died Jan. 21, 1995, at his home. He was bornon Jan. 11, 1931, the son of Hayward M. and Stella Bwyskal Lancio. He lived in East Haven and Guilford, Conn. for 38 years prior to moving to New London in 1994. He formerly resided in Dallas and was a gradu- ate of Dallas High School. He was employed for 41 years by United Illuminating of New Haven, Conn., retiring in 1994, as director of fuel supply. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Korean War. Lancio was chairman of the ECNE Fuel Committee, a member of St. Albans Masonic Lodge of Guilford, Conn., and a member of the North Guilford Congregational Church. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, boating and all outdoor activities. He leaves his wife of 42 years Nancy Owen Lancio of New Lon- don; one son, Robert John Lancio and his wife Annette of East Haven, Conn.; one daughter, Susan Lancio Rowett and her husband Bill of New London; his father, Hayward M. Lancio of Shaver- town; one brother, John F. Lancio of Brentwood, Tenn.; seven grand- children; nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Jans 28 inthe Old Stone Church of East Haven; Conn., with the Rev. Paul Andrews, pastor of the Sunshine Baptist Church of Newport officiating. Burial will be in the Old Main Cemetery in New London in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association, P.O. Box 2209, New London, N.H. 03257. ARTHUR PIMM Arthur S. Pimm, 61, of RR2 Harveys Lake, Loyalville, died February 20 at Lake Silkworth. Born February 27, 1933, in Loyalville, he was the son of the late John and Cora Fisher Pimm. A 1950 graduate of Laketon High School, he was employed for 27 years by Air Products, Wilkes- Barre. He retired one year ago. He had previously worked for Caddie LaBar’s, Dallas, for 10 years. He was a social member of the Daddow-Isaacs American Legion Post 672, Dallas, and was mem- ber of the International Associa- tion of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Hanover Local Lodge 2200. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Regina Atcavage, Exeter; son, Arthur D. Pimm, Loyalville; daugh- ters Joyce Kellmel, Nanticoke; Sharon Daubert, Exeter; broth- ers John, Loyalville; Charles, Clarks Summit; sisters Hannah Schooley, Rhoda Dougherty, Jane Sedlak, all of Loyalville; Arlene Schneiderite, Dallas; four grand- children. Funer services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Will McCall, pastor of Maple Grove United Methodist Church officiating. He was employed for 30 years by the Fahringer Lumber Com- pany, Berwick, and was employed for the last three years as a con- struction consultant for Fine Line Homes, Hazleton. He played the saxophone and banjo for the Masters Band. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary D.; brother Fred; sister, Hazle Crockett. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, the former Shirley Naugle. Funeral services wil Ibe held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Prior to her retirment, she was employed as a seamstress and was also engaged in private child care. She attended the Kunkle United Methodist Church and volun- teered at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason.
