Music Box Players present Love Letters The Music Box Players will present a very special evening of theatre when they open their 15th season on January 13 with Love Letters, A.J. Gurney’s unique and imaginative 1988 play. Comprised of a series of letters exchanged over a lifetime be- tween two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences, Love Letters creates an evoca- tive, touching and frequently funny evening of theatre. Love Letters is a special fund-raising event and proceeds will go to the Music Box Players roof-replacement fund. Dates of produc- tion are January 13, 14, 20 and 21 at 8 p.m. This is a show-only performance. A donation of $15 is requested and includes the show and hors d'oeuvres. Playing the roles of Andy and Melissa, lovers and lifetime corre- spondents, are Michael Gallagher and Debbie Zehner. Directing is Agnes Cummings. Reservations are suggested for Love Letters, but tickets will also be available at the door. Cocktails will be served from the Music Box bar from 7 p.m. each evening of performance.
