Children who are eligible for registration must be three years old or four years old by Jan. 1, 1995, The three year old session will be held from Jan. 23, 1995 to ‘March 24, 1995. The four year old session will be held from March 27, 1995 to May 26, 1995. ~ Both sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. There are 17 openings for each session. Children must be Dallas School District residents. A cal- endar will be distributed at regis- tration. The program is directed by Mrs. Nancy Garvey. TUESDAY - Open face turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, jello w/whip cream. WEDNESDAY - Italian meat- ball/hard roll w/tomato sauce, seasoned green beans, peach cobbler. Lake-Lehman's Snow King, Queen and court The annual Lake-Lehman semi-formal dance was held at Irem Temple Country Club in Dallas on December 22. The Snow Queen and King and their court were first row: Jennifer Stark, Missy Roper, Snow Queen Allison Jurkowski, Kelly Komsisky and Shelene Perlis; second row, Tim Brislin, Tim Steltz, Dave Thomas-Snow King, Terrance Meehan, and Tim Waslick. Dallas Honor Societies collect books for needy The National Honor Society of the Dallas Senior High School and the National Junior Honor Society of the Dallas Middle School conducted a book collection drive to help the Kiwanis of Wilkes-Barre. The children’s books were placed into food baskets that were distributed to needy families for the holidays. Helping out with the collection were: kneeling: Christopher Tucker, Erica Boyer; first row, Kelly West, senior high honor society treasurer; Charles Fehlinger, Beth Carey, Matthew Barnard, and Mike Messersmith; back row, Laura Seidell, vice president and Scott Sobocinski, president of senior high school honor society. Wins Christmas card contest Each year the students of the Dallas School District participate in a Christmas card designing contest. The winning card is used as the official Christmas card for the Dallas School District. This year’s card was designed by Becca Hadzor, a sixth-grade student at the Dallas Middle School, showing off her card with superintendent Gerald Wycallis and art teacher Steven Kaschenbach.
