He was a member of the Veter- ans of Foreign Wars and Ameri- can Legion. BERTHA WASILEWSKI Bertha Wasilewski, 75, of Sweet Valley died Nov. 25, 1994 at home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Martha Bogumil Kumor. She lived in Sweet Valley for the past 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, ‘Lake Silkworth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley P.; son, Richard B.; brothers, Benny Kumor, Chester Kumor, Edmund Kumor; sisters, Stefie Moses and Helen Bandura. Surviving are a son, Stanley W., with whom she resided; sis- ters, Victoria Martin, West Brook, ALBERT ROWLES SR. Albert Rowles Sr., of Harveys Lake, died Nov. 21, 1994 at Wilkes- Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Albert and Edna Rowles. He was formerly employed by Niagara Window Cleaning and Summit Park Mall, Niagara Falls, NY. He was preceded in death by son, John; brothers, Leonard and William.
