He attended Larksville High y School and was employed as a * foreman in the mines. He was valso employed by Wright Aero- autical, NJ. He retired from Kanarr Corporation in 1971. He was also a mink rancher for 21 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church; Hanover Twp., Flore served on the Board of Elders - or 64 years. He was alsoa member “of the Huntsville Cemetery Asso- ciation and served on the Ply- mouth Township Zoning Board. In addition to his second wife, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Emily Weeks. Surviving are children, Carl, Williamsport, Md.; Mrs. Thomas ‘Marilyn Martin, James and Ronald, all of Plymouth Town- ship; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, William E., Edwardsville. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Daniel and Jenny Lewis Jones. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and participated in the Battle of the Bulge, after which he received the bronze star. He was employed for more than 40 years by Harris Hardware Industrial Supply Co. and retired in 1978 from the Morton Indus- trial Supply Co. He had resided in Shavertown for the past 57 years. He was a member of the George M. Dallas Masonic Lodge and the Caldwell Consistory. He was a member of the Shav- ertown United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Eleanor Cortright; daughter, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Morgan, Shavertown; two grandchildren; sister, Mrs. George (Eleanor) Searfoss, Shavertown; two nieces. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II who served in Pan- ama for four years. He was employed as a clerk in his family owned business Hall's Pharmacy, Shavertown, and later employed as a shipping clerk at the Boston Store, Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of the Shav- ertown United Methodist Church where he was head usher for Saturday evening services for the past four years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore W. Hall.
