Beginners, singles, couples, young and old are all welcome. The evening will begin with the customary walk-through of basic dance figures. Each dance will be taught throughout the evening. Dancers should wear soft-soled shoes or sneakers, and casual dress. The evening's caller will be Sam Rotenberg, who will intro- duce some English country dances (more genteel, less aero- bic!) as well as calling a full complement of contras. Making their season debut is the region's New England dance band, the Back Moun- Andy Fedley, Brian Redmond, lan Warrington, Mary Lou Mehl and Paul Mehl.
