She was born in Beaumont, aughter of the late Lawrence and th Clark Hilbert, and was a graduate of Beaumont High School and General Hospital School of Nursing. She had lived in Forty Fort for many years. Mrs. Haiges was a member of Forty Fort United Methodist Church. Active in church affairs, she had served as chairman of the Altar Flowers Committee since 1953. She was also formerly ac- tjve with Girl Scout and Red Cross committee affairs. She was a past worthy matron of Wilkes-Barre Chapter 90, Or- der of the Eastern Star, and a past president of the Irem Temple Auxiliary and a member of the Past Presidents Club of the Irem Temple Auxiliary. Mrs. Haiges was also a past president of the Past Matrons and Past Patrons Association of Dis- trict 21A of Luzerne County. She was a charter member of the Wyoming Valley Widows Club. Her husband, Albert, died in July, 1969. Her stepmother, Elsie Goodwin Hilbert, died in 1970. Sisters, Rachel Jones and Jean Swartwood, also preceded hier in death. Surviving are brothers, Conrad C. Union Street, Kingston, died July 21 as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile acci- dent on Route 309 in Kingston Township. He was born Sept. 21, 1977 in Kingston, son of William B. and Nancy Davis Stricker of Kingston. He was a junior at Wyoming Seminary, where he was a mem- ber of the football team and the Seminary Players, a drama group. He was a member of Back Mountain Youth Soccer, and did volunteer community service at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, King- ston. He also was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, where he partici- pated in plays and sang in the choir. His grandfather, Dr. George B.
