Boy Howdy to appear at Woodlands Boy Howdy! This often-used expression has become the name and battle cry of the four musicians who comprise the new Curb Records group Boy Howdy. Since the band’s inception in 1990, singer/bassist Jeffrey Steele, brothers Cary and Larry Park, who play guitar, and drummer Hugh Wright have become familiar faces on the notoriously tough L.A. club scene. Their musical craft is showcased in their debut album “Wecome to Howdywood,” which has given the band their first hit single. “Our Love Was Meant to Be.” The band will appear in concert July 10 at the Woodlands Grand Ballroom at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available at all Joe Nardone’s Gallery of Sound locations.
