' “We were placed in an envi- romnent where we could all go ~ourown ways," she said. “Some ' led; others followed, all of us ' trying to determine where our i futures would lead us." One experience which stood yout in her mind was the field hockey team's attempt to paint ‘cars, which “transformed a grey :K-car into a rolling work of art.” Other students practiced .auto body repair by “perform- ing body-altering experiments” on Mr. Sponenburg’s hapless Datsun. +, “I'm sure that he will be at a loss after we are gone,” she joked. -,+ Remembering her teachers’ words of praise and encourage- ment, Turner said that they helped keep everything in fo- cus. - On behalf of her class, she thanked the teachers, admin- istrators, families and friends for their help and encourage- ment. :.+'My outlook for our future is bright,” she said. “The knowl- edge has been imparted.
