According to Dinner Coordina- tor Shawn Murphy, the dinner is open to anyone who would like to share Thanksgiving with friends— possibly friends they have not yet met. The dinner is offered without charge. Prepared annually by a host of volunteers, the community dinner honors the memory of Ms. Murphy's grandfather, Benjamin E. Naylor, and Ruth and Charles Lemmond, Sr., parents of Senator Charles D. Lemmond, Jr. Transportation is available through the volunteer efforts of drivers employed by the County’ transportation division. Reservations for the dinner and for transportation are required. She is the owner of Pat Finley's Friendly Food, an Independent Shaklee Distributorship and serves on the Executive Committee of the Northeastern Group of the Sierra Club. Maculloch is the son of Eleanor Maculloch of Dallas and the late John Maculloch. He is employed as a technician at Procter and Gamble, Mehoopany. Mr.and Mrs. Hoyes will note 50th anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hoyes of Shavertown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving Day. They were married Thanksgiving Day in 1943 at the home of the bride's parents with the Rev. Chester H. Evans officiating. Their" attendants were Mrs. Hoyes's sister Clara Martin Hoyes and Mr. Hoyes's brother George F. Hoyes. Mrs. Hoyes, the former Gertrude Martin, is a daughter of the late William and Clara Martin of Peckville, Pa. and is retired from Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Mr Hoyes is the son of the late Robert Hoyes and Pearl Hoyes ° who is a resident of the Kingston Manor Personal Care Center. He is retired from Woolworth Company. They are the parents of Richard Hoyes, Dallas; Ellyn Fortney, Falls; Roger Hoyes, Forty Fort; and Robert Hoyes, Sinking Springs, PA. They alsc have 10 grandchildren.
