"A Homespun Christmas” Craft Show at PSU Nov. 7 . The Arts at Hayfield will pres- ent its fifth annual Christmas Crafts Show on Sunday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be held in the Athletics and Recrea- tion Building on the campus of Penn State Wilkes-Barre in Lehman. The show is free and the public is invited. The “Homespun Christmas” boutique will feature handcrafted items for sale including holiday decorations, wreaths, dolls, jew- elry, furniture, clothing and much more. Over 60 artisans and craf- ters will participate. Refreshments, including soup and sandwiches will be available for purchase in the Student Commons. Square dance Nov. 12 to raise funds for A.R.C. _ The ARC, Luzerne County's Association for Retarded Citizens, is sponsoring a square dance on Friday November 12, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at College Mis- ericordia in Dallas. Joseph “Red” Jones will be the caller for the evening and music will be pro- vided by the Polka Dukes. Re- freshments will be served. Bill Jones, of Kingston, is serving as chairman of the fun- draising committee for the ARC. He has announced that through the generosity of Insalaco’s Mar- kets, turkeys have been donated and will be raffled off during the evening's festivities. Tickets for the square dance can be pur- chased for $7.50 each at the ARC office at 59 North Main St. in Wilkes Barre or from any member of the board of directors of Arc.
