Moyer of Shavertown has announced her candidacy for Kingston Township Supervisor. She will seek election as a Repub- lican. She has lived in Kingston ~ Township with her husband and two children for over 20 years. It was raising her children in this community that made her appre- ciate what it had to offer. It is her sincere caring for this township that has made her deci- sion to run for supervisor. IShe would like to have the privilege of sharing in the growth of our area, : “while at the same time protecting the environment as this growth continues and maintaining the quality services which the town- ship has always given its resi- dents. To do this, she feels it is necessary to communicate with the people, always trying to be aware of their needs and views. Sledziewski of Shav- ertown, has announced her can- didacy for Kingston Township Supervisor. As a resident of Kingston Twp. for over 25 years, Sledziewski will run on the Republican ticket. Sledziewski and her husband, Louis, lived in Brown Manor for nine years then moved to Belford Street, where she has been the owner and operator of Cyndi's Hair Fashions for 16 years. Mrs. Sledziewski graduated from St. Vincent High School, Plymouth, and held a real estate license with Betty Kanaar Real Estate. She has received her Pa. State Cosmetology license through the Bradford Beauty Academy, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Sledziewski is very active in the Prison Christian Growth Ministry, she has taught religious education at St. Therese's Church, for many years and had been instrumental in starting a Con- cern Group for parents of run- away children. Her husband of 31 years, works in the Mountaintop area for 25 years. Ifelected, Cyndi is interested in the management of new growth in our area. She also would like to improve the recreation for the children such as baseball, soccer etc. and is very interested with safety on Route 309. Slecziewski is the daughter of Mrs. Valeria Butchinski and the late Valerian Butchinski of Nanti- coke.
