Warner The joyous Christian marriage ceremony of Denise Virginia Madeira, daughter of Pastor Dennis and Lucille Madeira, and Michael Ignatius Warner, son of Patricia Crysel and Michael Warner, took place on Briarcrest Road in Dallas. The beautiful lawn ceremony and dinner reception was held at the home of the Madeiras with the father of the bride officiating. Pastor Madeira is the minister at the New Life Community Church which meets at the Glory Barn on Brace Road in Orange. The matron of honor was Heather Madeira, sister-in-law of the bride. The best man was Michael Warner, father of the groom. The bridesmaids were Melanie Madeira, sister-in-law of the bride, Nancy Kinney and Mary Krug, the bride's college roommate. The groomsmen were Michael, Timothy and David Madeira, brothers of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Bethany Kinney and flower girl was Sarah Kinney. Junior groomsman was Philip Miller and ring ~ bearer was Peter John Miller. Soloists were Mary JoJohnson and Joleen Suda. Pianist was Bruce Sellers. The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and Florida. The bride graduated from New Life Christian Academy in 1988 as a home schooled student. She attended Bob Jones University as a music major for three semesters and has recently completed her requirements for graduation from King's College in the field of communications. She presently is teaching piano lessons in . her home. +. The groom is a graduate of Crestwood High School and has an accounting degree from LCCC. PSE SE SL IE a | A VS HR Area Girl Scouts decorate Catherine McAuley House Girl Scout Troop 624, Dallas, recently performed a good deed for the homeless women and children at the Catherine McAuley House in Plymouth. They decorated the house for the Holidays, hanging wreaths, mistletoe, holly; wrap- ping the staircases with silver moss and evergreen boughs and putting up a six foot Christmas tree. Santa's helpers included Stacy Amann, Melonie Sappe, Jessica Fields, Susan Dwinchick, Jolene Mintzer, Kelley Adams, Tina Muss- man, Heather Jones, Tamara Mussman, Chrissy Duris, Robin Jones, Jennifer Howe, Danelle Jones, Marla Brown and Leaders Robin Jones and Mary Ellen Duris. The Sisters of Mercy run the house which is named after their foundress. The Catherine McAuley Center serves the community by providing temporary shelter for women and children in crisis which leaves them without substantial resources. Sister Anne Paye, executive director of the Center said, “We are extremely grateful to the members of Dallas Troop 624 as well as all the other members of our area who continually help us with our min- istry, we couldn't do without them.” ae Ra ad W-B General Hospital promotes McAndrew Sean McAndrew, of Kingston has been promoted to assistant director of Medical Records at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. + McAndrew's expanded role includes supervision responsibilities for the coding, correspondence and Tumor Registry areas of General's Medical Records Department. + Agraduate of the Health Records Administration program at York College, McAndrew has been a Wilkes-Barre General Hospital employee since May 1990. He currently is pursuing a Masters egree in Health Administration at Scranton University. + McAndrew also serves as a medical record consultant to Slate Belt Nursing Center, Bangor, and Sisters of Mercy Nursing Home in Dallas.
