Prisoner honors local Quakers About three years ago, the Society of Friends (Quakers) began to hold meetings for Worship at the State Correctional Institute at Dallas. Currently a group meets every Friday night at the prison. Recently Mark and Martha Robinson, two of the local Quakers who bl the prison ministry were honored by the presentation of a ® trait drawn by Robert Weaver, one of the prisoners. From Lancaster, Pa., Weaver had never drawn or studied art before his incarceration at Chase. Dr. Peter Feinstein of Dallas named citizen ambassador @Vilkes-Barre General Hospital Or thopaedic Surgeon Peter Feinstein, M.D., participated in a National American Academy of opaedic Surgeons workshop entitled “Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release in Orthopaedic Surgery,” held recently in Chicago, Illinois. The workshop consisted of 12 orthopaedic surgeons representing all geographic areas of the United States. It addressed the issue of the role of endoscopic carpal tunnel release in orthopaedic surgery, the risks verses benefits and future applications in an effort to develop a national policy statement regarding this procedure. _ Dr. Feinstein, a Dallas resident, 5 also invited to become a member of the Citizen Ambassador Program Performing Arts Medicine Delegation which recently traveled to Russia and Eastern Europe. The goal of the delegation is to provide insight into research and treatment for various physical and psychological problems which affect performing artists. DR. Tom began his career at OPM on February 12, 1979 in the Bindery Department, soon after he transferred to the Maintenance Department where he held various titles such as: Apprentice, DONNA SORCHIK Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman and his present title Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman II. Geskey is one of more than 400 initial entry personnel from the reserve, na- tional guard, and active army units who participated in exercise Wild West Warrior IL.
