Back Mountain hays attend basketball camp ProShot Basketball Camp recently held a basketball mini-camp. ProShot specializes in basketball shooting and offensive skills. In addition to shooting instruction, the camp featured numerous competitive games from 1 on 1 to 5 on 5 and also shooting games and drills. Megan Daney wins silver in Jr. Olympics swim Megan Daney recently competed in the Mid-Atlantic Junior Olym- pics which was held at the Golden Meadows Swim Center in Lancas- ter. Megan represented the FAST ' Swim Club. Teams from through- out Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey competed in the Jun- ior Olympics with approximately 900 swimmers participating. Megan is the daughter of Mike and Nancy Daney of Shavertown and has two brothers, Eric and Adam. She will be a fifth grade student at Westmoreland Elemen- tary in September. She qualified for the finals in three of her individual events, placing fifth in the 10-and-under 50 meter backstroke, sixth in the 200 meter individual medley and seventh in the 100 backstroke. Megan also played ninth in the 100 meter frees- tyle.
