Hourigan of Dallas, died Aug. 14, 1992 at Wilkes-Barre ., General Hospital. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Joseph B. and Martha Hurley Hourigan. He was educated in Kingston schools, attended Bucknell Junior _ College, graduated from Dickin- son College and earned his law “degree from Dickinson School of Law. Judge Hourigan was a veteran of World War II, serving as a lieu- , tenant in the United States Army, .and was a recipient of the Silver “Star. He was elected toa 10-year term in Nov. 1967, retained for another 10-year term in Nov. 1977 and became President Judge on Sept. - -.25, 1981, before retiring in Janu- ary 1991. He was a member of St. Ther- ese’'s Church, Shavertown, the county, state and American bar associations; the Wyoming Valley Country Club; Knights of Colum- bus; honorary member of the Wyoming Business Club; the Elks Lodge 109, Wilkes-Barre; and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 283, Kingston. He was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Daniel Houri- gan. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Augusta Wood, daughters, Molly H. Malpass, Shavertown: Bonnie H. Olsen, 68, of Terrace Avenue, Trucksville, Kingston Township, died Aug. 16, 1992, at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, following an illness. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Anthony J. and Margaret Kirwan Zorzi. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School and had been a resident of Trucksville since 1951. She was a member of St. Ther- ese's Church of Shavertown and was formerly active with the Gate of Heaven School PTA. She served as a Red Cross volunteer at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, for many years. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Ryan and Sister Lucille Zorzi, R.S.M. Surviving is her husband of 49 years, Carl Burt Olsen; son, Don W., Dallas; Paul J., Shavertown; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Harold C.
