JoAnn Hall, John Francis, and William Wallick of Dallas and Maureen Moran of Shavertown are members of the VNA Endowment Fund Committee which met recently to complete plans for the concert, the home care agency’s first major fundraising event in over 10 years. In addition to two performances by Mandrell at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., the VNA will host a Before- the-Show Reception which will be held in the lower level of the Kirby Center from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Co- sponsors for this fundraising reception are First Eastern Bank and Scranton Surgical Supply. Pro- ceeds from the reception and the concert tickets sold through the VNA will benefit the patients of the Visiting Nurse Association through the VNA Endowment Fund. The Visiting Nurse Association is a nonprofit community agency which has been helping the homebound ill in Luzerne County since 1908.
