"A Letter of Commendation from National Merit Scholarship Corpo- _ ration (NMSC), which conducts the program will be presented by the school to these outstanding sen- iors. About 35,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being honored for their out- standing performance on the 1990 Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which was the route of entry to the 1992 Merit Program. Commended Students have shown exceptional academic promise by placing among the top five percent of more than one mil- lion program entrants, but their qualifying test scores are slightly below the level required to con- tinue in the 1992 competition for Merit Scholarships. ‘School menus DALLAS SCHOOLS" Nov. 7-13 THURSDAY - Two tangy tacos w/cheese-lettuce-tomato, buttered corn, brownie, choice of milk.
