8 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, August 7, 1991 COMMUNITY 36th Centermoreland bar-b-que and auction slated this weekend The Centermoreland United Methodist Church will be holding its 36th annual Bar B Que and Auction this year on Friday and Saturday nights, Aug. 9 and 10 with the help of the Dymond Hol- low United Methodist Church. The Chicken Bar B Que dinner will be served both nights from 4 to 7 p.m. Adults $6.50 and children under 12, $4.50. The auction will start approximately 7 p.m. both nights. There willbe new and used items Students ena babysitting training Local students have success- - fully completed a course in Ba- ~ bysitting and First Aid at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. The class is conducted four times per year and includes instruction in the roles and responsibilities of babysitting involving child safety in the home, fire safety behavior, basic first aid, emergency care of children and cardiopulmonary resuscitation with obstructed air- way. The session is conducted in the Medical Arts Building by Carol O'Malley, R.N., B.S.N., from the Education Department. The young adults from the ages of 12 to 16 took part in this course to receive certification upon completion of the program. Hillside Dairy Ice Cream truck will be selling ice cream again this year and there will also be a re- freshment stand. Young and old will find something special at the Bridging to Brownies small goods stand, and don't for- get the delicious homemade bread, pies, and other goodies at the bake sale. The Jacob Brothers Evangelis- tic Association will present a con- cert Friday and Saturday nights at about 6:30 p.m. The Jacob Broth- ers are four talented young men dedicated to spreading the gospel through music.
