Lowey, daughter of Mrs. Maryrose Lowey and the late Richard Lowey of Edison, N.J., became the bride of Howard A. Cosgrove, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cosgrove of Lehman, on Novovember 3, 1990 in the Lehman Methodist Church. The Rev. Michael Bealla officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her brother Joseph Lowey. She wore an original gown of ivory satin with a beaded bolero jacket designed and created by her friend, Linda Milion, Prof. of Costume Design at the University of West Virginia. Victoria Connor was matron of honor for her sister. Brides- . maids were Rosemary Lowey, sister of the bride, and Kendra Cosgrove, cousin of the groom. : Best man was Michael Remplewicz of West Pittston. Ushers were Gregory Bogdon of Beaumont and Kenneth MacLeod of Jersey City, N.J. A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at The Barn, Newberry Estate. : The bride is a graduate of Rutgers University, and has a MFA degree from Pennsylvania State University. She is a free lance set designer for theatre and film. Mr. Cosgrove is a graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and Pennsylvania State University. He is a free lance grip (working) on commercials and films and a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 52, in New York City. Following a honeymoon trip to Ireland, the couple resides in Hoboken, N.J. DIANE BOWERSOX AND EDWARD HAVRILLA Diane L. Bowersox plans wedding to Edward Hauvrilla Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Bowersox of Linden, announce the engagement of their daughter, Diane L., to Army Spec. Edward R. Havrilla, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Havrilla of Shavertown. The bride-elect is a graduate of Montoursville Area High School and received her degree in music from College Misericordia, Dallas. She also attended Lycoming College. She is a music teacher in the Jersey Shore Area School District. Mr. Havrilla graduated from Lake-Lehman High School. He also earned a degree in Music Education from Wilkes College, Wilkes- Barre. He is a musician with the 389th Army Band stationed at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. An August 17 wedding is planned at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre. Lori Spencer to wed Wesley Rhubright Mr. and Mrs. Willard Spencer of Dallas announced the engage- ment of their daughter, Lori Rae Spencer to Wesley Rhubright, son of Wesley Rhubright and Judy Myers of Harrisburg, Pa. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Messiah College. She is employed as manager of Patient Food Service at Harrisburg Hospital, Harris- burg. Her fiance, a graduate of Palmyra High School, attended Harris- | burg Area, Community College and served in the U.S. Navy. He is | presently employed by Xerox Corp., Harrisburg, Pa. - A November 9 wedding is planned. Rays have new granddaughter Mr. and Mrs. Barry L. Ray, . Sacramento, Calif. announce the birth of their first child, Maurissa Augusta, born February 12 at Sutter Memorial Hospital, Sacra- mento. The new arrival weighed in at 8 pounds, .14 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length. Mrs. Ray is the former Leanne Carol Young, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell W. Young, Orangevale, California. Mr. Ray is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Ray, Main Road, Sweet Valley. Maurissa is the fifth granddaughter for the Rays.
