The paintings are the works of Lisa Owens of Hunlock Creek. They consist of subjects painted in remembrance of times gone by. Executed with a rustic feeling, they are full of detail and texture, both tactile and visual. Owens a grandmother of eight, is a self-taught artist with the _exeption of a few short classes with Kay Probst of Cambra and Sue - Hand through L.C.C.C. along with husband, Frank, Owens has par- ticipated in arts and crafts shows in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. She is a member of Cider Painters of America and the Wyoming Valley Art League. The exhibit includes landscapes ofvarious seasons which have been classically framed as well as col- lector's pieces which have been “designed for and painted on old saws, which have been prepared as a painting surface. The public is invited to view the art works in the lobby of the United Penn Bank, Main Street, Dallas, during regular banking hours.
