Misericordia Circle K Club visits Back Mountain Kiwanis Members of College Misericordia Circle K Club visited the Back Mountain Kiwanis Club at a recent break- fast meeting at Pickett's Charge Restaurant, Dallas. Margie Goetsch, an exchange student from the Transvaal District of the Republic of South Africa, addressed the meeting and gave an interesting slide presentation which showed scenes of the country including her parents’ cattle farm and the city of Sidney and its harbor. Shown in the photo are, from left, John Rogers, Secretary; Ron Mosca, President; Miss Goetsch and Bob Cartier, Kiwanis Advisor to the Circle K Club. ; Back Mountain Jaycees enjoyed Holiday spirit The Back Mountain Jaycees en- joyed a busy week of Christmas - projects during December. The week started with the Sand Candle sales to raise money for the projects. John J. Jablowski chaired the highly successful project which raised $500. Jaycees Blake Saba, Karen Schleyer, Mark Masitis, Dave Payne, Greg Runner, Steve Steltz helped with the sale. Next came the Santa visits where Jaycees dressed as Santa delivered presents to area children. Scott and John Saba, Gary Smith, Steve Steltz, Donna Cupinski, Cathy Rubbicoand chairman Rick Wright kept the faith in Santa alive throughout the Back Mountain. On Sunday, Dec. 18, 16 children arrived at McCrory’s where Dave and Darlene Payne, co-chairs, Joe and Cathy Rubbico, Curt Goodwin, Mickey Harvey and Karen Schleyer helped them to buy presents for their families. Then they all went to McDonald's to wrap the gifts and eat lunch. The final project was visiting the Meadows Christmas party where Jaycee Mickey Harvey dressed as Santa Claus and Dave Payne and Karen Schleyer helped him Shyer presents to the elderly inhab Good cheer and Crhsitmas mi was enjoyed by all. Paul Henderson elected to PG&W Vice Presidency position Pennsylvania Gas and Water Company (PG&W) announced re- cently the election of Paul E. Hen- derson to Vice President of Opera- tions and Engineering. Henderson previously served as the company’s Vice President of Operations since November, 1985. As part of his duties, Henderson is now responsible for all engineer- ing functions, including the opera- tion and maintenance of PG&W's water supply and water treatment facilities as well as water quality.
