Sue ant Joseph Hand Joseph and Sue Hand Tenew their vows Joseph R. and Sue Hand of Dallas renewed their wedding vows Friday, Aug. 19 on the occasion of Sue's birthday. It is their 21st year of marriage. The Hands were originally mar- ried on May 29, 1967, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Larish, Orange. The vows were renewed at the Fellowship Evangelical Free Church, Hilde- brandt Road, Dallas, in the pres- ence of about 250 art students, ends and family members. Pas- or Dwight Hodne conducted the ceremony. Attendants for Sue Hand at the renewal were her college roommate, matron of honor, Carol Kloiber Usher, Bethlehem, (who served as maid of honor at the original cere- mony), and daughter, Heather Lynne Hand who was maid of honor for her mother. Also serving as attendants were bridesmaids and fellow artists, Lowry Puckey, Geri Villiams, and Young Chang, all of allas, and Karen Shelley, Center- moreland. ~ Attendants for Joe Hand at the newal were best man Richard BVilliams, Dallas, and man orhonor, Mayor Paul LaBar, Dallas, stepfa- ther. Ushers were brother-in-law Bill Dupkanick, Vestal, NY; Steve Cameron, Dallas; Bob Chase, Bowmans Creek; and Rich Heiser, Sweet Valley. The ceremony included arenewal of the wedding vows, written by the Hands, a program of slides set to the song “Wherever You Go”, and recognition of special honorary attendants; the art students at Sue Hand's Imagery, Dallas. The Charge was given by Pastor Dwight Hodne, pastor of the Fel- lowship Evangelical Free Church. A reception was held in the church sanctuary for all those at- tending the renewal. Joe and Sue Hand own and operate Sue Hand's Imagery on Main Street in Dallas. Their daugh- ter, Heather, a student at Wilkes College, is associated with the family business. The Hands are active members of the Fellowship Evangelical Free Church. Sue is a nationally recognized artist and art instructor and has won several awards in international art compe- tition. Joe and Lynn Kernag, both experienced in the field of printing opened Precision Graphics in the Dallas Corners Building, Memorial Highway, Dallas. Kernag graduated from Williamsport Community College with a degree in graphic arts and for 22 years worked with some of the larger graphic companies in the local area. His wife, Lynn, was in the printing field for 13 years until she retired to raise a family. Among the positions she held was one with The Dallas Post. Lynn came out of retirement to work with her hus- band in their new business. In the future, they also plan to have their sons work with them in the graph- ics business. Customers will find a wide range of graphic arts services avail- able to them at Precision Graphics. The Kernags do typeset- | ting, layouts for all types of print- ing, brochures, program books, wedding invitations, copies of origi- nals, such as deeds, birth certifi- cates,,,, wills and other papers.
