School display The Lake-Lehman School Library is alive with displays provided by the Armed Forces. The local Army, Navy, Marine, and Coas Guard Recruiters, working in conjunction with Carole Pyle, school librarian, have made available to our students much information regarding our country’s Armed Forces. Upon entering the library, a person is immediately greeted with colorful posters and brochures describing opportunities offered by each branch. A collection of books, featuring historical conflicts such as World War Il and Vietnam, are on display. Of special interest is a model of a Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarine. The model is 7 ft. long and lighted from within to show the living and working quarters of a modern submarine. Chief Petty Officer James A. McNichol, was responsible for delivering the model to the library.
