Sheehan, Jr., of Dallas, executive director of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Com- merce, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Economic Development Council. AEDC is a national professional association serving over 1,000 mem- bers throughout the United States and Canada who are concerned with the advancement of economime and industrial development. As a board member, Mr. Sheehan will be responsible for establishing policy concerning the Council’s var- ious educational activities, certifica- tion program and other member services. She lived most of her life in Hempstead, New York, but now resides with her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Perkins in Jackson Township. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Laurence had a son, Frank, who is now deceased. She also has five grandchildren and 13 great-grand- children.
