The group, most of whom reside in the Frank- lin Township area, will be helping with this year’s June Festival on Saturday at the hospital grounds when members of the Rural Branch will be oper- ating the ‘Country Store’ at the festival. The ‘Coun- try Store’ will feature beautiful handmade quilts, pillows, stuffed animals as well as homemade jams, jellies and breads, which the group has been prepar- ing throughout the year. Friends of Mrs. Dorothy Dodson of Kunkle will be glad to learn she came home on Wednesday after leg surgery in Wilkes- Barre General Hospital. She will be incapacitated for about six weeks. Allen Brace of Kunkle underwent surgery on Thursday in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
