Ernest Fuller of Mac-
clenny, Fla., returned yes-
terday after a week with
his son-in-law and. daugh-
ter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Phillips of Centermore-
land. He came here to
attend the recent gradua-
tion of his granddaughter,
Georgia Phillips, who was
a member of the 1983
graduating class at Tunk-
hannock Area High School.

and high school graduates
were honored at Sunday
morning’s services in the
three United Methodist
Churches of the Center-
moreland UM Charge: At
East Dallas, Mark Howell;
at Dymond Hollow, Kim
Barber and Mike Klimas;
at Centermoreland, Dale
Faux, Russell Faux, Geor-
gia Phillips, Susan Bellas,
Rory Shaver, Mark Rob-
erts, Debbie Richardson,
Jamie Kyttle, Steven
Remetz, Carl Brown and
Greg Wall. Rev. Donald
Walter is pastor of the
Centermoreland UM
Charge.
Pvt. Cyril Jon Vitek,
Route 92, Falls, was grad-
uated on June 3 at Fort
Benning, Ga., where he
Pennsylvania
Guard. Vitek is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Vitek, proprietors of the
Big 4 Coffee House on
Route 92. He is a graduate
of Wyoming Area High
School and, prior to his
training, was employed by
Keystone Coca-Cola Com-
pany of Pittston.

Members of the Rural
Branch of Nesbitt Memo-
rial Hospital Auxiliary
have a busy weekend
ahead. The group, most of
whom reside in the Frank-
lin Township area, will be
helping with this year’s
June Festival on Saturday
at the hospital grounds
when members of the
Rural Branch will be oper-
ating the ‘Country Store’
at the festival. The ‘Coun-
try Store’ will feature
beautiful handmade quilts,
pillows, stuffed animals as
well as homemade jams,
jellies and breads, which
the group has been prepar-
ing throughout the year.

president of the Rural
Branch.
JOY Class of Kunkle
United Methodist Church
will meet this evening at
7:30 to further plans for its
benefit annual. flea
market, tentatively set for
Saturday, August 6, at the
Kunkle fire grounds. Mrs.
Audrey Lockhart, presi-
dent, will preside.
Rev. Donald Sperling,
pastor of the Noxen-
Kunkle United Methodist
Charge, and Mrs. C.D.
Parks of Noxen were the
delegates to the annual
Wyoming District Confer-
ence held last weekend at
the University of Scranton
and Elm Park Methodist
Church in Scranton.
Friends of Mrs. Dorothy
Dodson of Kunkle will be
glad to learn she came
home on Wednesday after
leg surgery in Wilkes-
Barre General Hospital.
She will be incapacitated
for about six weeks.
Allen Brace of Kunkle
underwent surgery on
Thursday in Wilkes-Barre
General Hospital.
