Mr. and Mrs. James Giacomo and children Maggie Lynn and Christopher, of Rochester, N.Y., spent the holiday weekend with Giacomo’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Giacomo of Orange. Thanksgiving Day was a day for a family gathering at the home of and Mrs. Elmer Reese, Sr. of Orange, who had 16 guests for dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wood and children, Julie and Denise, of Equinunk, were holiday dinner guests of Mrs. Wood's parents, Rev. and Mrs. Donald Walter of Cen- termoreland. Mrs: Charles B. Townsend of Orange spent the holiday with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Lasco of Tunkhannock. Supervisors of Franklin Township will hold their December mooting Monday evening at 8 in the basement of the Orange United Methodist Church. The 1983 town- ship budget will come up for first reading, as will a determination on how the 1983 federal revenue sharing funds of more than $9,000 will be used. Mr. ,and Mrs. Jack Clarke and children, Erin and Kim, of Mystic, Conn. spent the holiday weekend with Mrs. Clarke’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Townsend and family of Orange. Supervisors of Nor- thmoreland Township will meet Monday evening at 7 at the home of the board’s secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Bea Beatty, Rte. 292, Centermoreland. The 1983 Northmoreland Township budget. will come up for first reading. Board chairman Jack Husband will preside. Girl Scout troop 263 of Centermoreland is having an active time of it since its reorganization in late September. The girl past two months included a night of swimming at the Tunkhannock ‘High School pool; a Halloween party in the Cen- termoreland UM Charge hall; a night at the movie at Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock where the scouts viewed the movie “E.T.”, and investiture and rededication service at Centermoreland UM Church hall; and a trip to MacDonald’s at Mount sauerkraut supper held recently by Mountain Grange Master Stanley Krzanowski has ex- pressed thanks and ap- preciation to all those, who assisted or attended the affair. Proceeds will go towards plumbing some exotic birds. The girl scouts also helped serve at the interfaith dinner sponsored by Inter Faith at the Tunkhannock Catholic Youth Center.
