Supervisors of Franklin
Township will hold their
December mooting
Monday evening at 8 in
the basement of the
Orange United Methodist
Church. The 1983 town-
ship budget will come up
for first reading, as will a
determination on how the
1983 federal revenue
sharing funds of more
than $9,000 will be used.

with Mrs. Clarke’s

meet Monday evening at 7

secretary-treasurer, Mrs.

Centermoreland. The 1983
Northmoreland Township
budget. will come up for
first reading. Board
chairman Jack Husband
will preside.
Girl Scout troop 263 of
Centermoreland is having
an active time of it since
its reorganization in late
September. The girl
past two months included
a night of swimming at
the Tunkhannock ‘High
School pool; a Halloween
party in the Cen-
termoreland UM Charge
hall; a night at the movie
at Dietrich Theater in
Tunkhannock where the
scouts viewed the movie
“E.T.”, and investiture
and rededication service
at Centermoreland UM
Church hall; and a trip to
MacDonald’s at Mount
sauerkraut supper held
recently by Mountain
Grange Master Stanley
Krzanowski has ex-
pressed thanks and ap-
preciation to all those,
who assisted or attended
the affair. Proceeds will
go towards plumbing
some exotic birds. The
girl scouts also helped
serve at the interfaith
dinner sponsored by Inter
Faith at the Tunkhannock
Catholic Youth Center.
The troop meets Thur-
sday evenings at the
Centermoreland UM
Church hall. Troop repairs in the Grange
leaders are Mrs. Ama Hall. Mountain Grange

Williamsport, Pa. He
received his Ph.D. from
the Pennsylvania State

Osteopathic Medicine and
Surgery in Des Moines,
Iowa.
He completed a one-
year rotating internship
at Detroit Osteopathic
Hospital in Highland
Park, Michigan. Dr.
Yarnal served two ad-
ditional years there
completing his residency
in internal medicine. He
also completed a two-year
fellowship at the
Cleveland Clinic Foun-
datio, Ohio, in pulmonary
disease.
