Donald Sperling, pastor of the Noxen-Huntsville-Rug- gles Charge, has an- nounced that the Charge conference will be held at ‘the First United Methodist Church in :Noxen on Wednesday evening, Nov. 28, at 8, when Rev. William Reid of Wilkes-Barre, district superintendent, will be the guest speaker. Members of the pastor- parish relations com- mittee of the Charge will meet with Rev. Mr. Reid at 7 that evening. The Jacobs Brothers quartet will present a concert at the Noxen United Methodist Church on Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, at 7:30, instead of i the previously announced date. United Methodist ‘Women of the Noxen UM Church will hold their annual benefit bazaar and turkey dinner on Satur- day, Nov. 10, in the church social rooms. The Bazaar will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, Mrs. Marie MacMillan, president of the UM Women at Noxen, has announced. Serving of the turkey dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Plans for. the bazaar and turkey dinner will be completed at a meeting of the Noxen UM Women Tuesday evening at 7:30 in the church school rooms. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Honeywell of 81 North Pioneer Avenue, ‘Shavertown, will observe their 42nd wedding an- niversary on Saturday. They were married in Shavertown United Methodist Church by Rev. W. Sellers, pastor, on Nov. 3, 1937. : Mrs: Honeywell is the former Miss Hazel Meeker, daughter of Mrs. Beryl Cisco of Binghamton, N.Y. and the late Frease Meeker of Hunlocks Creek. Honeywell is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Honeywell of Shavertown, and operates a trucking business. Mr. and Mrs. Honeywell are the parents of a Hall of Shavertown, and have three grandsons, Hugh, Jason and Justin Hall, the latest addition to the Hall family. ~ Mr. and Mrs. Charles Menhennett of Mt. Zion observed their 14th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They were ‘married on October 30, 11965, in Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, West Wyoming, by Rev. Leo Gildea, pastor. Mrs. Menhennett is the ‘Nebesho, daughter of Mrs. Stella Nebesho of West Wyoming and the late Peter Nebesho. Menhennett is the son of Mrs. Grace Menhennett of Mount Zion and the late Herbert Menhennett, and is employed by C.E. German of Forty-Fort.
