After all the Easter baking, cooking and eating, add a zero and guess whose size you would have? Watch it, Ronny Ritts! What can I tell you when my in-laws bring a car load of imports. To us anything from New York is imports, like Italian sausage, veal cutlets, procuitto bread, pastry...I could go on for a week. Thursday afternoon the family started gathering and eating and here it is Sunday evening and I have yet to close my mouth with all the goodies I’m stuffing in. Just don’t believe our family - we started gathering and eating and here it is Sunday evening and I have yet to close my mouth with all the goodies I'm stuffing in. Just don’t believe our family - we started the Lenten Season with a feast that could have fed 40 people for 40 days, (You remember me writing about Fat Tuesday - the day before Ash Wednesday, day after Skinny Monday?) then bring the season to a close with proiner feast that lasted for four days. I'm not kidding, we started Thursday evening and here it is 11:10 Easter evening following one tablespoon of Mylanta, a bottle of Citric Magnesia and a promise to start dieting tomorrow. Another diet!!! The Correales weren't alone with all this eating and cooking - Marlene Caccozza was cooking up a storm for her family as her daughter Marianne Marianni, Allen- town and Anna Rose Caccozza from Rome, N.Y. joined her and Jack, Chris and Mark for their holiday. Marie Annetta was another doll who prepared food for an army and only ten people were really invited. Even for the friends who traveled to relatives, did their share, Yo Tomaselli had more home cooked goodies in their car than luggage as they visited their relatives in Long Island, N.Y. FOOD, FCOD, AND MORE FOOD. Happy to note that Karen Batka is recuperating at home following her stay in Nesbitt Hospital. The Kishkills, John, Helen and Joe traveled to Brooklyn, N.Y. to enjoy their Easter with relatives. Two of my most ardent readers, Missy and Tom Yoniski will be celebrating birthdays this week. Missy, her tenth birthday, April 18 and Tom his 14th April 23. Many good wishes and reruns. Linda and Catherine Scholl enjoyed a week visiting relatives in Georgia. Sorry to learn that Mr. Fitzgerald has been a medical patient at Nesbitt Hospital for two weeks. If there are any of our neighbors who can spare an hour a day once in awhile to drive Mrs. Fitzgerald and her daughter down to Nesbitt Hospital, please contact me at 639-5759. Here is where the true meaning of neighbor is defined. Birthday wishes to, cute as a button, Cynthia Boyle, Sue Bergervin, April 19 and Steve Kupstsas, April 22. Don’t forget to keep April 27-28 open for some good times. Gate of Heaven P.T.G. will sponsor a Casino Royale, plus a Night at the Races. Several neighbors have purchased horses that will be competing against each other. With names like Testaccio, Cambione, Disco Italiano and Italian Cousin, you others don’t have a chance! ; If there’s anything Vin has learned in the 18 years of our marriage is not to ask, ‘How was your day?’’ The answer could be said in 500 words or a look that could kill. Well, one day this week, think it was Tuesday, I had a day that should have been spent watching TV or something that would have kept me and the rest of the world out of trouble. To begin with I double-parked Vin’s car on Main St. as I ran in the Dallas Post leaving the car running. When I returned to the car I found that my sleeve accidentally hit the door lock so the doors were all locked. What a way to begin a day! After calling myself all the names I could think of and some that Vin would have thrown in I realized that I had left the side window opened. Lucky me. You would think that was enough for one day - not when your name is Bridgette Correale. After work I headed toward Kingston to do some good deeds that found me in a grocery store in the Narrows Shopping Center. the first aisle I walked down I reached for toilet paper only to have the whole section of Cottenelle fall on me, two other people, our wagons and the floor. Second aisle, my wagon bumped into on box of crackers and do I have to tell you what followed. Can’t believe that one box of fallen Keeblers could cause so much com- motion. The third aile I tried to go down, a stock boy was loading glass bottles of juice but when I saw that I simply turned my wagon and walked away. You blame Vin for not asking, ‘How was your day?” The Annual Card Party of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Woman’s Auxiliary will feature many exciting awards and prizes, according to Mrs. CarliJ.'
