a Sl LL BAND CONCERT--The Lake-Lehman Symphonic Band Concert, directed by John Miliauskas, will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31, at 8 p-m. in the high school auditorium. Featured will be the Band Front. Narrator will be Kevin Wagner. On Friday evening the John Phillip Sousa Band Award will be presented to two outstanding musicians by James L. Nicholas, high school principal. The John Miliauskas award will be presented on Saturday by Donald Cosgrove, president of the Band Sponsors Association. The Cadet Band directed by Jonathan Pineno will precede the Knights concert. Tickets may be purchased from any band member or at the door. The public is invited to attend. All \Yjunior students planning to attend two-year or four- year colleges should take this exam. Seniors who have not yet taken the SAT’s should also take the test at this time if they are planning to attend college. Students planning to attend Luzerne County Com- munity College do not need to take this exam, but should plan to take the ACT’s at a future date. The doors will open at 8 a.m. Students are reminded to bring their admission tickets and two number two pencils. Walk- in registrations will be accepted if the student brings to the test center a completed registration rm, and a check or money order for $18. Categories were majorette, color guard and drill team. Majorette captain is Caryl Wilke and co-captain is Susan Rushin. The Color )) Guard unit which consists of silks and rifles is cap- tained by Cathy Houssock and co-captain Holly Haverick, silks. Rifle captain is Ronald Schall and co-captain is Michael Kasko. Judging was by the: National Judges Association in areas of marching and maneuvering, carriage and use of equipment, and general effect. Judging the area of inspection were Gunnery Sgt. Richard A.
