Upon acceptance of their duties, each officer received a long stem American Beauty Rose presented to them by Father Thomas Jordan. Following her farwell speech and her warmest thanks to the Society, Mrs. Walter Weir, out-going president, turned the meeting over to Mrs. Rose Wolensky. Frick, age 97, died January 1, in Doylestown Manor Nur-- sing Home, Doylestown, Pa. He was born in the late Michael C. and Harriet Simons Frick. He was a chaplain in World War I and World War II and served in France during World War 1. He also was a chaplain for the 109th Field Ar- tillery, Kingston, and a member of the Kingston American Legion Post. and founder of the West of Wyoming Valley Min- strel Association, founder and builder of Firewood Christian Church, Wilkes- Barre Christian Church, and Wyoming Avenue Christian Church.
