Pawlowski and L. Stone each won three first place trophies. Pawlowski was a leg of the winning two-mile relay team who set a new record of 9:12.6. Stone set a new record of 1:59.1 in the 880 yard. Hanover Area’s Frank Clark set a new record of 49.6 in the quarter mile and Valley West's S. Warner clocked 39.9 in setting a new record in the 330 I.M. hurdles. His teammates Jeff Seeban set a new distance of 59-9% in the shotput and Bruce Eustice hit 13-0 in the pole vault. The West took the 330 yard intermediate hurdles with the East did the same in the discus. Dallas winners were Neil Cross in the 100 yard dash; and a tie for first with K.
