Lashford, Sutton Road, will serve as a delegate representing Wyoming Conference at the General Conference of the United Methodist Church April 16 through 29 in Atlanta, Ga. Mrs. Joseph Philibim, New York City, visited her mother, Mrs. Wallace Perrin Sr., on the weekend. The Lake-Lehman Band Sponsors Association have listed a busy schedule for the coming months. Activities include a ham supper, hoagie sale and baked good sale. On April 15 the family style ham supper will be served at the Jackson Township Fire Hall in Chase. Serving will be from 4:30 pom. to 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Albert Ashton ‘is chairman, assisted by co-chairman Mrs. Dale Wright. The monthly hoagie sale will be held April 18. Mrs. William Teske, chairman, advises that orders are being accepted and deliveries will be made. Orders may be placed by phoning Mrs. Teske or co-chairman Mrs. Dale Wright. A bake sale will be held in the high school lobby the evenings of April 21 and 22. Mrs. Michael Houssock is in charge assisted by Mrs. Stephen Salansky. Band parents are requested. to bring their baked goods to the lobby as early as possible on these evenings. The regular monthly meeting of the association will be held April 17 instead of April 18. Jack Brown will preside at the business meeting at 8 p.m. in Room 25 of the high school. This change has been made to: coincide wth band practice, making it more convenient for parents to attend the meeting. Plans will be completed for the band booster drive to be held early in May. Proceeds of all activities of the association will go toward financing the band’s trips to the Grand Festival Parade of Champions in Maryland and the Pageant of Bands in New York.
