Once again, the property of Joseph P. Brennan, 191 Main St., was damaged when a car went out of control while negotiating the curve in front of his home. Dallas Borough Police report that the vehicle, driven by Carl Steven Monahan 21, RD 4, Dallas, went out of control, striking a lighted name post and knocking it down. Special patrolman Ted Montross in- vestigated the accident and ar- rested Mr. Monahan for failure to identify himself, a charge stemming from the fact that he left the scene without reporting the damage to the property owner. Assisting in the investi- gation was special patrolman Jack Berti and Dallas Township patrolman Les Tinsley. The first accident which des- troyed the Brennan’s front steps as well as several trees took place June 13, 1969; the second accident occurred April 25, and totally destroyed a vehicle parked in front of the residence. The state department of roads, which has jurisdiction over Main Street, has been requested to paint traffic lines down the sides and the middle of the road and to provide a guard rail to prevent future accidents at this dangerous curve. p New Goss Manor home owners meet The New Goss Manor Home Owners Association ammended its by-laws to increase the yearly dues to $4 at a meeting last week.
