Fisher, English depart- ment; andg Mrs. Donald E. Bennett, Shaverto president of the Wilkes-Barre Junior League. The exhibit of 40 of Sr. Corita’s prints will be on display through February 24 daily from 8 am. to 10 p.m. Public is invited, according to Ralph G. Kaleshefski, art de- partment, who arranged the ex- hibit. The serigraphs are in bold Wh, yellows, blues and greens in an ad- vertising style which often makes use of slogans directly from cur- | rent ads. All are religious in theme, but are in a modern idiom, some- times in pop style, and catch the eye and the mind with an unusual conjunction of colors or phrases or even of isolated letters. One serigraph consisting of the word, ‘pigeons’ printed in different colors on very green grass can be termed a landscape in the pop style. Another serigraph printed in bright red, yellow and blue states “GO SLO” with only free forms and a heart present on the print.
