Registration will be held in | the gym lobby. Boys from seventh | through twelfth grades will be ac- cepted. * All phases of wrestling will be | covered from very fundamental to | advanced moves at the clinic which | will be held at the Wilkes Gym- nasium during the week of August | 8: through 12 with head coach {John | i Reese conducting the program. LeRoy Altitz, head ‘wrestling coach at West Point, will again be a guest clinician and will demon- strate some of the moves that have made his Army teams so successful. Many boys from the Back Moun- tain schools attend this clinic an- nually. They find it to be of great value when they go to the mats during wrestling season. They learn to develop techniques and to over- come weaknesses they have found in their style. Boy Scout Troop © Members of Boy Scout Troop 281 sponsored by Dallas Methodist Church attended Camp Acahela last week, July 24-30. They camped in Blackfoot area, where they have camped for ‘the last five years. Many of the Boys advanced to the next rank in Scouting. Merit badges were earned in Camping, Fishing, Basketry, Forestry, Indian Lore, Public Health, Wildlife Management, First Aid and Soil aand Water Con- servation. Jerry McDonald and Grant Davis were elected by members of their Troop to the Order of the Arrow, a Scout Honor Campers Organiza- tion. Bruce’ S. Mr. Davies and Jer- ry took the Ordeal Thursday night and Friday and were accepted into full membership Friday night. Other members of the Troop who belong to the Order are: Bill Baker 3rd, Marshall Rumbaugh, John ®Gager, Bruce Davies 3rd, Charles Baker and George Mahler. Attending Camp were: Bruce Da- vies 3rd, Kenneth L. Besecker, Ed- ward Boltz, Richard Demmy, Jer- ry McDonald, Herman Otto, Neal Stetson, Charles and Douglas Was- serott, Douglas Whitehead and Paul | Sarnak, Bruce Davies Jr. was unit leader in charge of the Scouts during the week. Mrs. Christina Frantz took her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dend- ler, to the Dendler reunion in Ber- wick Sunday.
