Hughes Jr., chairman of the pageant, is hoping to have Sen- ior girls from both Dallas High ‘School and Lake-Lehman Area Joint Schools as contestants. The seminar included lectures, # | discussions, and panels, conducted by top scientists and engineers in the country. The theme of the sem- “The Nature of Man.” Dr. Harlow Shapley of Harvard, renowned astronomer ad- dressed the group on ‘Man Looks “| at the Infinite.” Other lectures cov- ered subjects such as “Man as a Living Organism,” “Computers and the Study of the Brain,” ‘“Langua- ges,” and “The Science of Culture and Science and the Human Spirit.” A reception was held by Presi- dent and Mrs, Julius A. Stratton, climaxing the stimulating three days. Mr. Kabeschat is a graduate of M. I. Ts School of Building Engin- eering and. Construction. Sandy Kabeschat went along on the trip to Massachusetts with Mo- ther and Dad and had a delightful visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Botsford and daughters, Emily and Elizabeth, at North Scituate.
